This week’s meeting opened with Darcy leading a discussion on community event participation and planning for the upcoming Car Raffle Fundraiser, covering logistics, volunteer coordination, and partnership outreach.
Kindness Dollars
Frank secured a raffle prize donation from the Cliff House for the upcoming Chamber event co-hosted by the Old York Historical Society and York Rotary Club.
Brit announced York High School Drama’s performance of Poe on October 29–31 at 7 PM.
Jud is seeking additional drivers for the Heart-to-Heart transportation service for seniors.

Spotlight: The Power of Food
Guest speaker Tracy Anello, chef and director of Community Gourmet, shared moving stories about how cooking can restore memory, connection, and dignity — especially among seniors and un-housed students. Her message emphasized the power of food to heal and bring people together, beautifully reflecting Rotary’s mission of service and community.
