Friday's meeting included a fabulous presentation by visiting Rotarian Cheryl St. Amand from China Lake California.  Cheryl is involved with the Rotary Rose Parade Float Committee.  Cheryl explained that the annual float for the Rose Bowl Parade is not paid for by Rotary International, but strictly by donations.  This important project provides Rotary with an audience of 70 million viewers each year.  There are strict guidelines to follow in order to participate, and volunteers are crucial.  To learn more about the Rotary Rose Parade Float, to make a donation or to help on the committee please visit their website at
