Another great meeting day in the books!
The morning meeting started with a presentation by York High School student Ella. Ella has a girl scouts project that she has been working on, where she is proposing to erect Little Libraries in 6 different locations throughout the Town of York. Ella made a wonderful presentation on where the 6 locations areproposed, what is needed for each Little Library, and even provided a schematic on how they would be constructed. We were HAPPY to provide her with a donation to support these efforts!
Next, we welcomed our newest member Fred Diehl. Mr. Diehl lives right here in Town, and is the local Edward Jones representative located on Woodbridge Road. Welcome aboard!
Last, but certainly not least, we welcomed our speakers, Jacob Ouellette and Josh Sawyer from the Sanford Mainers Baseball Organization. Mr Ouellette told us about this wonderful league and the wonderful things that they do for kids in the community. In the above photo President Toni Joerres presented them with a check to support their summer youth camp program.
