Beautiful morning at York River Landing outdoor pavilion for our Friday, August 6, 2021 meeting. Sun was shining, birds singing and we had 3 new future members attend, along with a wonderful presentation from Karina Graeter, who is a Sustainability Coordinator from Southern Maine Planning & Development Commission. Ms. Graeter's presentation to the group included what SMPDC is, what they do, and information on opportunities to volunteer. SMPDC works to foster more sustainable & resilient communities in coastal York County by leveraging regional collaboration to enhance the effectiveness of local government sustainability & resilience action.
