We had a fantastic morning at our club meeting, filled with inspiring moments and meaningful connections!
First, we were honored to meet York Middle School’s Student of the Month, Mariele Colpo. Although Mariele is relatively new to the York School District, she has already made a significant impact on her peers. A natural leader, Mariele is known for making everyone feel welcome and included. In a generous and thoughtful gesture, she chose to donate her $100 award to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Next, we welcomed Jon Stimmel, Director of Great Bay Services, for an engaging presentation. Great Bay Services is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with offices in Dover, New Hampshire, and Sanford, Maine. The organization provides essential support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism—including innovative enrichment programs, case management, independent living assistance, and employment empowerment.
