Our "Car With A Cause" raffle drawing location has changed with the cancellation of Harvestfest. We have partnered with a local business - restauranteur that has suffered dearly this year. As if a pandemic wasn't enough, they experienced a devastating electrical fire, causing more than a million dollars in damage. On Saturday, October 17th, at 4 PM the drawing will be held at Walkers Maine Restaurant. (COVID protocol goes without saying), in front of their Porte-cochere. This is another opportunity for Rotary to help by inviting the community to support this local business.
We invite you to stop by for the drawing, but come early, as Walkers will open from 1:30 - 4:00 PM, offering a special menu to Rotary friends and supporters. http://walkersmaine.com/ Their regular dinner schedule is 4:00 - 8:00 PM. Keep in mind, there is no seating available if you plan to order lunch. You might consider calling in for take-out dinner from their amazing menu options following our 4 PM car raffle drawing.
At 4 PM we will roll the raffle drum and pull this year's winning number! Some lucky Rotary "Car With A Cause" supporter will take home our 2020 VOLVO XC40 T5 AWD (or 10K in cash). Come, support Rotary, and experience Walkers Maine Restaurant!
